What to Expect:
This social ride is going to be a bit different as it will be hosted by two ambassadors, Jo and Ceri.
Approximately 20km with 410m of climbing. This ride mixes up the blue & red trails, the route we will take is listed below:
*Badger, first steps and slipway* (blues)
Up the hill to start *Dream time* (red),
drop onto *Bwch Bren* and the *sacrifice* (blues),
Cross the river via *off-spring* (green), left on fire roads to either *Y Cleddyf* (blue) or *Bugsy* (Black easy) back onto fire road and *Mordaith* (blue *you can jump onto bottom of *Uncle Fester* part way along red).
Head uphill past peet kilns to ride down *Pink Hefer* (red). Back on fire roads to cross over off-spring up the big climb and back in to the centre via *beginning of the end*(red) into the car park and if people want to we can ride *Glide* (black) which is under the bridge and *Seven Sisters* (red)
The pace is always ‘social’ not Strava! We won’t be rushing to get done, we won’t be pushing to tick off features, and we won’t be forcing anyone to ride anything they aren’t comfortable with- the aim is to have fun and ride bikes!
We will have the entire day to ride, but there is no pressure at all if you need to dip out at any point.
No pressure, just good times!

Where to Meet Us:
Jo and Ceri will be waiting in the spot listed below, they’ll meet you there at 09:45 ready to ride at 10:00. Please arrive with plenty of time to get ready as we’re not going to hang around too long.

What Should you Bring?:
Equipment
It’s super important to note that we will not ride with anyone who is not wearing a helmet!
Other than that, the protective gear that you bring is up to you- we normally ride with knee / elbow pads and maybe gloves, depending on the conditions. You’ll also need a bike that is trail suitable, safe and in working order so we can avoid repairs at the start of the day.
Food
Make sure you bring plenty of water for the ride. Please bring plenty of snacks for along the way and feel free to pack a lunch too, there is no cafe or anywhere to buy food at the meet point or along the way.
Facilities:
There are no facilities at this meet this spot (sadly the cafe is now closed).
What Will it Cost?
The ride itself is totally free, we won’t be charging you anything for our company.
The carpark is free to park too!
Important Info:
Photos:
Our ambassadors may take photos or videos during the ride to use on social media or in promotions. It’s a great way to show others what our rides are really like and help those who might be nervous feel more confident about joining next time.
If you'd prefer not to be included in any photos or videos, just let your ambassador know at the start of the ride — no problem at all!
Disclaimer:
This is NOT a guided ride and there will be no coaching, we’re simply meeting you at the trail head to make some friends, push each other as a group, and get women and girls on the trails. We do not accept any responsibility / liability for any accidents, and we will refuse to ride with anyone who arrives without the correct safety equipment or an unsafe bike. All riders must sign up in order to ride and in doing so you are agreeing to these terms. Any riders under the age of 18 must be accompanied on the ride by an adult.
