Absolutely! Our social rides will always be free to join. Depending on where the ride is you may have to pay for parking, or bike park fees (we’ll always do our best to let you know about these things on the event page) but we will never charge anyone to come on a social ride - ever!

We have regular monthly rides in the following locations:

• Rogate B1Ke Park

• South Lakes area

• Shropshire area

• Brechfa Forest

• OnePlanet Adventure LLandegla

• Ceredigion Area

Some of our ambassadors ride at the same trail centre each month, some prefer to ride at different locations around their local area. We also have ad-hoc rides around the country.

Because we ride in many different locations, we can’t have a blanket rule for all. The decision is at the discretion of our ambassadors, so if you’d like to bring a trail dog please ask in the ‘Questions?’ section of the sign up form, on the event page, and we’ll get back to you.

Of course! Any type of mountain bike is welcome, as long as it’s trail safe.

Most of our rides are for adults (18+), but there are some which are child friendly - it will say on the Ride With Us homepage if a ride is child friendly.

Generally all our rides are suitable for those comfortable riding blue trails and up. We’ll note it in the ‘What to Expect’ section of the event page if a particular level is required.

Beginners

Because we don’t offer any coaching or guiding are rides are appropriate for complete beginners. If you’ve made the move from green to blues, then feel free to come along, our ambassadors will aim to tailor the ride to all levels, and offer different options (if available) so everyone can ride to their level.

This varies between rides. If the ride is a certain distance then it will last the distance, of the ride is at a bike park then the ride will last until everyone is out of steam! We generally meet about 10am, ride until lunch and then those who want to keep going can do so and those who want to tap out early can also do so. There’s no pressure to stay for the full day.

We have a Social Rides Facebook group where you can contact the ambassadors through their ride event. Shoot them a message in the comments or join their Facebook chat group (if they have one set up).
