I ride my bike as often as I can, but between work at Hafod Trails and family commitments this is less than l'd like! My aim from every ride is to have fun, because that is what MTB is all about.
I started leading group rides for my local club a few years ago and it's spiralled a bit! Encouraging more women and girls into the sport has always been a passion project for me and SheRides aligned perfectly at the right time and I'm also a Regional Champion for Project FIAS.
I organise regular women's MTB events at Hafod Trails and there's no better feeling than watching a whole load of likeminded women coming together to do a sport they love. I don't race and don't even make a very good race mum, as my nerves get the better of me whenever my kids are between the tapes. I love Wales for riding and it's scenery and I'm incredibly lucky to call the beautiful Brechfa Forest my home.

The friends I've made through mountain biking at the absolute best and if I can help other women to form friendships through what I do, then that's a win in my book.
