What to Expect
If you can confidently ride a red, this ride is for you. If you’re after something a little more blue trail friendly, check out our Cannock Chase ride on the 17th October.
Stile Cop is a small area on Cannock Chase with a handful of downhill trails. There are a variety of trails to cater for a variety of riders. For this ride it's recommended that you're a confident rider that can do small drops. For reference, if you've got round Follow the Dog and the Monkey Trail with no major issues, you'll likely be okay here. Nonetheless, there is no expectation or pressure to do features or ride anything you don't want to. We're all there to have fun!
There’s no set distance as it's a push-up-and-go-again deal, how much we ride depends on the group. We'll definitely be taking a few breaks throughout!
Full face helmets and suitable body armour are highly recommended.
Phoebe is just here as a host to bring people together. It’s your responsibility to check out the trail/ features before you ride them and decide whether they are right for you.
We will meet in the spot listed below, get acquainted and then check out the trails. We usually finish up around lunch time so feel free to bring your own snacks for a bit of a social in the carpark!

Phoebe will be ready and waiting at Stile Cop car park, ready to ride for 10am (we’re not going to hang around too long, so try to be on time so you don’t miss the ride).

What Should you Bring?
Equipment:
It’s super important to note that we will not ride with anyone who is not wearing a helmet!
Full face helmets and suitable body armour are highly recommended.
You’ll also need a bike that is trail suitable, safe and in working order so we can avoid repairs at the start of the day.
It is possible to hire a bike from the Cannock Chase Cycle Centre, but we strongly recommend that you do it well in advance if that’s your plan.
Food:
There is no cafe on site so please make sure you have plenty of water and snacks, as we will be away from the vehicles until the end of the ride.
Everyone is welcome to stick around for a social in the car park after the ride so bring some snacks!
What Will it Cost?
The ride itself is totally free, we won’t be charging you anything for our company.
Stile Cop is free to ride at.
Car parking is free.
Important Info
Photos:
Our ambassadors may take photos or videos during the ride to use on social media or in promotions. It’s a great way to show others what our rides are really like and help those who might be nervous feel more confident about joining next time.
If you'd prefer not to be included in any photos or videos, just let your ambassador know at the start of the ride — no problem at all!
