🔴 Be ready to ride at 10am
Fancy getting out on the trails and meeting some fellow riders? Join us at Llandegla Trail Centre for a social ride suitable for those who are confident on red-graded trails and comfortable with varied, technical terrain. The red MTB trail at Coed Llandegla is about 19 km. It has a mix of climbs, descents, flowing sections, rocks, roots and technical features. Then it’s back to the café for lunch, cake and a well-earned natter! ☕️🍰
Come along, ride at your own pace and enjoy some time on the trails with other riders! The trails here are MTB (full sus or hard tail)and E-bike friendly.
This is a social, self-paced ride — not guided or coached. You’ll need to be confident managing your own bike, and everyone is responsible for their own safety.
No pressure, just good times!

Where to Meet Us
Jo will be ready and waiting just outside the cafe ready to ride at 10:00 (we’re not going to hang around too long, so try to be on time so you don’t miss the ride).
You can contact our ambassadors via our facebook group (link at the top of this page). If you are running late, please let them know.

What Should you Bring?
Equipment:
It’s super important to note that we will not ride with anyone who is not wearing a helmet!
Other than that, the protective gear that you bring is up to you- we normally ride with knee / elbow pads and maybe gloves, depending on the conditions. You’ll also need a bike that is trail suitable, safe and in working order so we can avoid repairs at the start of the day.
It is possible to hire a bike from the Cycle Hub bike shop, but we strongly recommend that you do it well in advance, if that’s your plan.
Food:
There is a great cafe onsite that offers an array of yummy cakes, lots of lunch options, hot and cold drinks where you can refuel. It’s always a good idea to bring snacks and plenty of water for the ride.
Facilities
There are great facilities at this trail centre:
Parking (paid)
Toilets
Cafe
Bike Shop
Bike Wash (paid)
What Will it Cost?
The ride itself is totally free, we won’t be charging you anything for our company.
OnePlanet charges for car parking, you can see the costs on their website linked above.
Important Info
Photos:
Our ambassadors may take photos or videos during the ride to use on social media or in promotions. It’s a great way to show others what our rides are really like and help those who might be nervous feel more confident about joining next time.
If you'd prefer not to be included in any photos or videos, just let your ambassador know at the start of the ride — no problem at all!
