What to Expect:

We’ll be riding a mix of blue, red and off piste - suitable for all abilities, and will tailor to suit and include all who turn up (and weather)! We will probably ride for around 2-3 hours.

This ride is suitable for all mountain bikes, ideally full sus but perfectly do-able on a hardtail. It’s all about giving it a go, meeting new people and having fun.

Where to Meet Us:

Rose will be ready and waiting, on her blue Canyon Spectral bike, outside the cafe / toilets at Haldon Forest Park ready to ride for 10am.

You can contact our ambassadors on our facebook group (link at the top of this page). If you are running late, please let them know.

Facilities

There are great facilities at this meet spot:

  • Parking (paid)

  • Toilets

  • Cafe (the main cafe is currently closed for a refurb but they have a great coffee / cake van and Indian Street food)

  • Bike wash

What Should you Bring?

  • Equipment

It’s super important to note that we will not ride with anyone who is not wearing a helmet!

Other than that, the protective gear that you bring is up to you- we normally ride with knee / elbow pads and maybe gloves, depending on the conditions. You’ll also need a bike that is trail suitable, safe and in working order so we can avoid repairs at the start of the day. ‘Normal’ and e-bikes welcome.

  • Food

Please be sure to bring enough snacks to sustain you during the ride, and don’t forget to bring plenty of water!

We’ll definitely have a cake stop at the end of the ride so if you’d like to, stick around for a bit of a social afterwards too.

What Will it Cost?

The ride itself is totally free, we won’t be charging you anything for our company.

Haldon Forest Park car park is a paid car park, you can find out prices in the link above.

Important Info

Our ambassadors may take photos or videos during the ride to use on social media or in promotions. It’s a great way to show others what our rides are really like and help those who might be nervous feel more confident about joining next time.

If you'd prefer not to be included in any photos or videos, just let your ambassador know at the start of the ride — no problem at all!
