Welcome to SheRides (“the Website,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using this Website, participating in a SheRides social ride, or booking or purchasing any SheRides services - including, but not limited to, MTB retreats, fitness programmes, and related offerings, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. Along with our Privacy Policy, Disclaimer, and, where applicable, our Social Ride Terms & Conditions and our MTB Retreat Terms & Conditions.

Please read all of these documents carefully before completing your booking or using any services. By proceeding, you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted all of these terms. If you do not agree with any of them, you must discontinue use of the Website and services immediately.

1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing, browsing, or using the Website, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and all applicable laws and regulations. If you are using the Website on behalf of an organisation, you agree to these Terms on behalf of that organisation.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years of age, or the legal age of majority in your jurisdiction, to use this Website. By using this Website, you affirm that you are of legal age and fully able to enter into and comply with the terms, conditions, obligations, affirmations, representations, and warranties set forth in these Terms.

Participation in any SheRides mountain bike retreats, social rides or fitness programmes are strictly limited to adults aged 18 and over unless otherwise stated.

We reserve the right to modify or update these Terms at any time, at our sole discretion. Any changes will be effective immediately upon posting to the Website. You are responsible for reviewing these Terms regularly. Your continued use of the Website following any such changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms.

You agree to use the Website only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms. You shall not:

- Use the Website in any manner that could damage, disable, overburden, or impair our servers or networks.

8a. Third-Party Services and Recommendations

From time to time, SheRides may recommend or facilitate connections with third-party providers such as transfer companies, accommodation hosts, bike hire shops, lift pass vendors, restaurants, or other service providers.

These third parties operate independently and are not owned, managed, or controlled by SheRides. We accept no responsibility or liability for the performance, safety, reliability, or quality of any third-party services, nor for any loss, damage, or injury arising from their use.

Any bookings or payments made with third-party providers are made at your own discretion and subject to their individual terms and conditions.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, SheRides and its owners, officers, employees, agents, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to lost profits, loss of data, or other damages, arising from or related to your use of the Website or any services provided through the Website, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Website is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. We make no warranties, express or implied, regarding the Website or its content, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We may, at our sole discretion, suspend or terminate your access to the Website at any time without notice, if we believe that you have violated these Terms or engaged in any conduct that is harmful to us or other users.

13. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms and any disputes arising out of or related to these Terms or your use of the Website shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England. You agree to submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located within England for the resolution of any disputes.

14. Payment Terms, Refunds, and Cancellation Policy

14.1 Payment Terms

By purchasing any products or services through SheRides (“the Website”), you agree to the following payment terms:

  • Pricing: All prices displayed on the Website are in GBP (£) and are subject to change at any time without notice. The price applicable to your purchase will be the price indicated at the time you place your order.

  • Payment Methods: Accepted methods may vary at checkout.

  • Billing Information: You agree to provide current, complete, and accurate billing information for all purchases.

  • Taxes: Prices may not include applicable taxes, which will be calculated and added at checkout.

14.2 Subscriptions and Recurring Payments

  • Automatic Renewal: Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.

  • Billing Cycle: Fees are charged on a recurring basis per your chosen plan.

14.3 Refund Policy

  • Digital Products: All sales are final unless explicitly stated otherwise.

  • Physical Products: If defective or damaged, notify us within 30 days for a replacement or refund (subject to return).

  • Subscriptions: Non-refundable once charged.

  • Special Terms: Promotional offers and discounts will specify applicable refund terms.

14.3a Mountain Bike Retreats

All bookings for SheRides Mountain Bike Retreats(“MTB Trips”) are subject to separate specific MTB Retreat Terms & Conditions, which must be accepted at the time of booking.

14.4 Cancellation Policy

  • One-Time Purchases: Non-refundable once payment is made, except as specified above.

  • Subscriptions: May be cancelled anytime; service continues until the end of the current billing cycle.

  • Trials: Cancel before the trial ends to avoid automatic billing.

14.5 Chargebacks and Disputed Payments

You agree to contact us before initiating a chargeback. If a chargeback is made without contacting us first, we reserve the right to dispute it and may suspend your account.

14.6 MTB Retreats Key Points 

MTB Retreat bookings are governed by the MTB Retreat Terms & Conditions, which supersede these Terms where specific.

  • Deposits are non-refundable

  • Final balances due by stated deadlines

  • Cancellations may result in loss of deposit and/or balance

  • Adequate travel insurance is required

  • SheRides may amend or cancel trips where necessary

15. Assumption of Risk and Participation Requirements

Please note that certain activities are are governed by their own specific terms and conditions which supersede these terms where specific.

15.1 Health and Fitness

By booking or participating in any SheRides event, social ride, fitness programme, 1-1 training session, retreat, or related activity (“Activities”), you affirm that you are in good physical health and possess the required fitness level to safely participate. You are responsible for assessing your own abilities and limitations and for seeking medical advice if you have any concerns about your ability to take part.

15.2 Acknowledgement of Risks

You acknowledge that Activities offered by SheRides involve inherent risks, including but not limited to physical exertion, slips, trips, falls, collisions with obstacles, terrain hazards, weather-related risks, equipment failure, and acts of third parties. You voluntarily assume full responsibility for any injury, loss, or damage resulting from participation in any Activities organised by SheRides.

15.3 Equipment and Safety

Participants must provide and wear appropriate personal protective equipment, including helmets, and ensure that any equipment used (whether personal or hired) is suitable for the intended Activities. Participants are responsible for maintaining their own equipment in safe working condition.

15.4 Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you release and discharge SheRides, its owners, employees, agents, and contractors from any and all liability for any injury, death, loss, or damage sustained by you or your property during participation in any Activities, except where caused by the negligence of SheRides.

15.5 Participant Responsibilities

Participants agree to:

  • Follow all instructions provided by SheRides and/ or it’s representatives.

  • Participate responsibly and within their abilities.

  • Where applicable respect the local environment, other trail users, and property.

Failure to comply with safety guidelines or instructions may result in removal from the Activity without refund.
